Drug & Alcohol Awareness

Street Smart Driving School is proud to offer Drug & Alcohol Awareness classes to our community. It is essential for the up and coming generation to understand the effects substance abuse can have on an individual’s ability to operate a motor vehicle. This includes those who may be under the influence of prescription medications that are prescribed by local physicians. The Texas Education Agency has approved our six hour class which is held on three consecutive days during all driver education classes. Due to the nature of the course, all enrolled individuals must complete the course in sequence and in full (an absence will result in the entire course having to be taken over).

This course may also satisfy the requirements for a 5% discount on insurance premiums and is also available for individuals that may have been ordered by a local judge and/or court to complete a Drug & Alcohol Awareness training.
