Adult Driver Education

Street Smart prides itself on training safe drivers in all generations. Our adult program is designed to offer a classroom environment with professional training in order to prepare an older generation to pass the written examination required by DPS and the State of Texas to obtain a driver’s license. During the adult driver education course individuals will spend a total of six clock hours in intensive classroom instruction. The objectives learned mirror those set out in the first six hours of a teen driver education course. The requirements can be found in the Program of Instruction for Driver Education and Traffic Safety approved by TEA. Each student will receive a current edition of the “Texas Driver Handbook” for further study.

Classroom training for Adult Driver Education is offered at the Street Smart Driving School in League City on the first Monday – Wednesday of each month. Students can also choose to take this course on-line.

The 6-hours of Adult behind-the-wheel training must be scheduled by registering via phone @ 281-338-6565

*Upon completion of this course the Adult will be responsible to take all required documents to the Department of Public Safety and complete the Driver Test with a DPS officer.
